Greetings from the "chemo chair." Waiting for the hospital pharmacy to mix my cocktail for today. My blood numbers have recovered slightly, still kinda borderline, but good enough for chemo today.
Originally, my chemo schedule was Day 1 and Day 8 every three weeks. Now it will be a reduced dose, Day 1, Day 15 every four weeks. So, instead of 4 months of chemo, it's looking like 6 months. So, scheduled to be done late July, not late May. Also, they will be adding a Neulasta shot to boost my white cells after my "day 1" chemo treatments. Very common for chemo patients.
So, that's my story. They tell me this is effective too and typical of what was done in the research study on which my chemo is based. I'm a believer!!!

Been waiting to hear that you passed your blood test. Mazel Tov!
