Easier day today

Played bridge this morning (John and I won). 

Home this afternoon working on the final details for the Sharsheret awareness/fund raising event on Sunday.  We are close to $18,000 in fundraising.  People have been so generous!  And, we have about 125 people attending (so far).  Weather is looking good.  Things are going smoothly - looking forward to a great event with featured speaker, Rochelle Shoretz (Sharsheret founder) and raising more $$.  My co-chair and I are speaking, too.  I'll be talking about my cancer journey and Sarah will talk about the training programs she has held for Smilow staff.  More to come on this event....

Out tonight with friends.  No hamburger, though.  I'm planning to have it in the original form - steak!
