Waiting for final discharge papers so we can get back on the road to MD to visit my parents. No blood clot, still somewhat anemic, but since I'm not short of breath any longer, I declined a second transfusion. Resident team was fine with that. I figure I have 8 more treatments. Don't want to get blood that often. I'll just take more naps.
Was fun having Perri here last night. And, glad she got to sit in on all the needles and tests. Takes away some of the "mystery" and needless concern for her, I hope. And, she's great company and a great caregiver.
Hope to hear you're back ON THE ROAD AGAIN soon!!! Enjoy your time with the folks. I'm still feeling fine, just waiting for the inevitable Energy Drain Monster to attack. Glad to hear that Perri is taking such good care of you!
